Ideally
located, Chalet, Le Pic a Talon is a recently
renovated 5 bedroom chalet that comfortably and
spaciously accommodates up to 10 people. If you
don't fancy lugging your skis too far or not have
the hassle of driving around, Pic a Talon is for
you! The free ski buses stop 50 metres from the
chalet and depart every ten minutes to the centre
of Morzine, Pleney/Les Gets Ski Domain, and of
course Avoriaz. The chalet backs onto an open
alpine area ideal for snow shoeing, children sledging
and snow ball fights! And if you want to use some
other muscles in the evening its only a 10 minute
walk to Morzine - no need for a taxi home!
On
the ground floor there is a large paved patio
and off road parking for several vehicles. A covered
doorway accesses the ski room which has plenty
of space to store skis, boots, boards etc. (A
boot warmer is provided along with benches for
changing at.) The washing machine and dryer are
also located here. This area opens into a large
heated entrance hall with lots of hanging space
for jackets and storage drawers for hats, gloves
and indoor slippers etc.
The
first floor consists of a large open plan living
area with wonderful views on all four sides, and
a central open fire. There are plenty of comfortable
sofas, ideal for relaxing in after a hard day
on the slopes, or taking in a movie on the 40inch
Sony screen and a Bose home cinema system. The
dining area, with oval table seating up to 12
people, is adjacent to the modern fully fitted
kitchen, with glass 4 ring induction top plate,
rotisserie oven, microwave & dishwasher. There
are large French windows on to the southern and
western balconies, which have seating and wonderful
views, where you can enjoy the sun at the end
of the day before it dips behind the Pleney slopes.
A
double bedroom with ensuite shower room and French
windows opening onto the rear sundeck is also
on this floor.
On
the second floor there are four fully furnished
bedrooms:
Two large double bedrooms with ensuite shower
rooms. Each has a double bed, wardrobe, chest
of drawers and single sofa bed suitable for a
young child. If using the sofabeds the chalet
can accommodate 12. Please talk with us to arrange
this!
Two
twin rooms sharing the main bathroom, each with
wardrobes and small chests. One of the twins has
an ensuite toilet and basin.
All
bedrooms are equipped with fluffy duvets &
pillows, cotton linen & hand and bath towels.
